Meet Lorraine | A Crafty Village

Tales from Great Hatfield. Post Office Pantry is based at the old Post Office in Great Hatfield. Since retiring, I have merged my love of gardening and cookery to produce chutneys, pickles, jams, jellies, curds, biscuits and cakes, using local or home-grown ingredients wherever possible. Recently, I have been rearing plants and herbs and now have a variety on sale. Vegetables will be available in season. I have quite a large cottage garden and am happy to advise people on cottage garden plants.

Meet Jackie | A Crafty Village

Tales from Great Hatfield. At the end of 2011 we attended a craft and christmas fair in a barn! Just to show how we suffer for our crafts below is a picture of me valiantly manning the Crafty Village Stall in the freezing cold…. I have lived in the village with my husband John for some 14 years now, and this is one place which will not become pre-loved, nor says my husband, will he! Liz's Holiday Cottages. Meet Carole | A Crafty Village
https://acraftyvillage.wordpress.com/about/meet-carole
Tales from Great Hatfield. Hi, I’m Carole Stagg, a newcomer to this friendly East Yorkshire Village. Now that the dust has settled after the move from South Wales I have the time to explore this beautiful area. With its combination of coast and country it provides the perfect scenery to inspire me to paint. Feel free to ask me any questions about my work. Keep in touch, and follow my progress through the seasons, as I discover more colourful scenes to capture in watercolour. Liz's Holiday Cottages.

The next meeting of the Parish Council will be held on Thursday 26th April, 7.30pm at Goxhill Church. All residents of the Parish of Hatfield are welcome to attend. Hope to see you there. Meet Pat | A Crafty Village
https://acraftyvillage.wordpress.com/about-2/meet-pat
Tales from Great Hatfield. Having studied art and pottery at college, I had great ideas of where this love of art would take me. Instead, life took over, I spent 30 years teaching art, getting married and bringing up 3 children and don’t regret any of it. This is a painting I did of my son when he was very young. Now, my children have grown up, my husband plays golf and I have retired so can now return to doing all the things I once promised myself I would do. Liz's Holiday Cottages.

Meet Fred and David | A Crafty Village
https://acraftyvillage.wordpress.com/about/meet-fred
Tales from Great Hatfield. Meet Fred and David. A few year’s ago my wife bought me a day in Dent learning how to make shepherd’s crooks. I proudly went home with the said stick and have been making them ever since, My wife may have regretted the day as I now have quite a collection and they are taking over the sun room. David joined me in the garden enjoyingthe pleasure of making these wonderful ‘sticks’ and in between the flowing wine we actually managed to produce some excellent pieces.
