Do I Run For Fun Or Is It Fun To Run? Friday, November 24, 2006. November 23 - Oh Crap! I'm definitely not a happy camper today, a torn hamstring while playing touch has pretty much put paid to my thoughts of doing the Knox Half in December. Was really filthy after I had done it, as we were leading 7-0 and it was late in the game, and then it just popped! I could rant and rave, but that's not going to do me any good, so now it's focus on my recovery and make sure I do everything to avoid a recurrence.

That's a bit better. Well yesterday run of 30 mins felt like crap. legs didnt want to move-just felt heavy and niggly. left shin very sore(i iced) and my whole glute/hip area feels VERY tight. struggled for the 30mins but got the tick in the box. What I write about when I think about what i think about running. In no particular order:. 5km – 18 minutes 50 seconds. 10km – 38 minutes 12 seconds. Half marathon – 1 hour 22 minutes 2 seconds. Marathon 2 hours 58 minutes 28 seconds. Minesweeper (expert level) 80 seconds. Pizza delivery – pizza delivered to 8 houses in under 30 minutes. Blog posts – 4 in one day. What I write about when I think about what i think about running. All this reading is giving me an injury. November 18, 2010. The girl driving the car ahead of me was traumatised. She jumped out of the car and starting whacking the guy, who ran away to safety – on the other side of Hoddle Street. Everyone was okay, at least physically, but it was a shock. I guess us suburban family-types should make sure we’re tucked up safe in bed by 9:30, as normal. It should be doable. Anyone want to do that one too?
