Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) - Clarksburg Community Volunteer Fire Department

The CERT program falls under the Decatur County Emergency Management Agency. This is an ongoing program here in Decatur County and the membership has grown to include a team in Greensburg as well as growing the Clarksburg Team. The CERT Orginization has also added over 75 members of Teen CERT, by training volunteers from the local schools. This is an exciting new twist to the concept of citizens helping citizens.

Clarksburg Community Volunteer Fire Department currently serves approximately 5,000 people in a 100 square mile area in Southeastern Indiana. While CCVFD receives the majority of it's funding from Fugit Township (plus Richland, Salt Creek and Clinton Townships), our expenses exceed our income. Contributions from generous individuals help CCVFD to continue to serve its area in the best way possible.
