Life with the Leslies. Wednesday, March 19, 2014. A Little On Leah. I know Leah shows up in almost all of my posts, but it has been a while since I've done a post about her. Plus I had all these fun pictures of her that haven't fit with other posts and I wanted to have them included in our family history. Some of the things she doesn't like include going to bed by herself, being told she can't do something she's determined to do, and leaving Grandpa's house. Here she is after Millie's birthday party....

Life with the Leslies. Tuesday, May 27, 2014. The women in my ward are angels. I love them. Here they are playing by the window. It was great to be in a spot where they could get down and play without bothering the other customers. The second picture below is of Corbin eating some rice. I think he was only getting a couple grains in his mouth at a time, but he was working so hard on feeding himself, that it kept him entertained for a very long time. I often find myself getting uptight about the way my ch...

Life with the Leslies. Saturday, November 23, 2013. Corbin has made lots of new developments in his eighth month. One of the biggest things is that he has learned how to crawl. He was getting really close just before Ross left for West Virginia. And it wasn't too long after he got back that Corbin had the skill perfected. Just before he had it mastered, we got a lot of views of Corbin that looked like this. Now he is crawling all over and getting himself into all kinds of predicaments. And not only is he...

Life with the Leslies. Friday, January 30, 2015. Putnam Family Christmas Party. The Saturday after Thanksgiving we had our annual Putnam Christmas party. I always enjoy getting together with my Putnam family and this party has been a yearly tradition for as long as I can remember. Thanksgiving weekend must really wipe Leah out because she falls asleep waiting for Santa to come every year at this Christmas party. So I had to make sure I got yet another picture of her asleep at the party. After all the kid...

Life with the Leslies. Friday, February 28, 2014. During the Christmas break, we did get some bad news. Ross's Grandma Mary (who had not been doing well for a while) peacefully passed away in the early morning hours of December 29th. So after our New Year's celebrations, we came home so that Ross could go to work for one day and I could get things ready for a road trip to Fallon, Nevada for the funeral. I wish I could remember more of what he said. Fallon is a small town and still has small town courtesi...

Life with the Leslies. Thursday, July 31, 2014. June was another fun month for the Leslie family. I love June so much, it is probably my favorite month. Too bad it disappears so fast. Here are some of our highlights. Speaking of Corbin being 15 months old, he went to his 15 month check up in the middle of June. Here's his stats from his doctor visit:. Weight: 17 lbs. 11.5 oz (1%). Length: 28 3/4 inches (1%). Head: 47 1/2 cm (67 %). One of these stats is not like the others! Ross's brother, Kyle, came for...

Corbin's 9th month was full of accomplishments. He had mastered the art of crawling and was into everything. Not only was he crawling everywhere, but he was also standing up to everything. I am so in love with this handsome little boy! Here he is all ready for church one Sunday. How sweet is this! Here are the before and after pictures. It ...

Life with the Leslies. Sunday, June 29, 2014. Leah' Fabulous FROZEN 4th Birthday - Part II. If you remember from the last post, Leah requested a FROZEN birthday. So I planned a party with a bunch of activities for the kids to do that went along with the party theme. The first thing was building doughnut snowmen. It was fun because when the kids arrived, I could ask them, "Do you want to build a snowman? Here's a picture of the snowman I did to show the others how to do them. The FROZEN pajamas were defin...
