Clementine's Produce & Provisions: Hello, Fall

http://clementinesproduceandprovisions.blogspot.com/2014/09/hello-fall.html

Sunday, September 7, 2014. It was a very busy Summer here. We sold out of all of our Weekly Bounty Boxes, had a ton of play dates, went to fairs, learned how to swim, and more. Now Hendrix is in his final year at St. Patrick's in the pre-K program. I'm so thankful I didn't have to send him to kindergarten this year. My heart would of broke. Ha! We continue to have huge harvests from the produce and the chickens are laying eggs daily (sometimes twice a day! Eggs from our chickens! We built a fairy garden!

Clementine's Produce & Provisions: hello summer vacation

http://clementinesproduceandprovisions.blogspot.com/2014/05/hello-summer-vacation.html

Wednesday, May 21, 2014. I typically look forward to Summer Vacation since it means that I don't HAVE to have Hendrix somewhere at a specific time. Although now that he is older he is wanting to spend time with friends more so summer requires a little more planning. Hopefully we can successfully relax and have fun this Summer without too much screen time. 1 year olds can be. And Violet is. Whoa. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Top ten posts this week. Dinner: A Love Story Stromboli!

http://www.dinneralovestory.com/stromboli

January 17, 2013. Our friends Kendra and Mike are what Abby would call “good cookers.” Mike’s a legit restaurant guy, and Kendra. Is an all-around enthusiast, with excellent taste, who happens to know her way around a kitchen. In other words, they can be trusted. A couple of weeks ago, Kendra poked her head into my office and said, “You know what you gotta make for the girls? 8220;Laser-cut paper doll dioramas of unicorns frolicking in shimmering fields of goldenrod? 8221; I said. 8220;No, dude. Amusing Pursuits: A mighty update: life list progress

http://www.amusingpursuits.com/2012/10/a-mighty-update-life-list-progress.html

October 3, 2012. A mighty update: life list progress. Slicing through my life list, just like I did this bottle of champagne. Learn to machine sew. Learn to skillfully use the manual settings on my camera. Learn to paint with watercolor. Learn how to bake my own bread- the kind that is good with hard outer crust and warm soft center. Does not count if said break tastes like glue. Learn to drive stick shift (without crashing and sans tears). Practice letters from my pointed pen calligraphy class. I was su...

Growing list | The Second Time Around

The Second Time Around. From seed to table. Salad Harvest →. May 19, 2011 · 8:16 pm. Well, well, well. As usual, the gardening has gotten WAY ahead of the documenting. Every year this is what happens, the thing just starts rolling and I think I will just remember the details of what happened. Yeah, right. I inherited 6 asparagus crowns from the farm. Where I intern), because we found them in the bottom of a bucket after we were too utterly exhausted to plant anything else. Swiss chard (gurney seed).

DIY: Drying Herbs

http://www.designmom.com/2012/04/diy-drying-herbs

The Intersection of Design and Motherhood. April 25, 2012. It’s planting time around these parts, and I’ve got plants and seeds and soil on the brain. Everything in Normandy seems to grow and thrive like gangbusters. Last year, we had so many herbs on our hands, I didn’t know what to do with our loot! So I asked Lindsey of Cafe Johnsonia. To teach us how to dry herbs I don’t want to waste a sprig! 3) Hang herbs upside down in an area that is cool and dry. I prefer to hang mine in my kitchen because I...

Clementine's Produce & Provisions

Sunday, September 28, 2014. Slowcooker sausage apple stuffed acorn squash. I shared a picture of this recipe last week on our Facebook page and received a lot of requests for the recipe. This is so easy to put together and cooks in about 4 hours on LOW in the slowcooker, so it is a great weekend dinner. Although, if you have a slowcooker with a timer you could do it while you are away from the house. Slowcooker Sausage Apple Stuffed Acorn Squash. 2 acorn squash, halved with seeds removed. 1 apple, chopped.

CLEMENTINE’S SECRET

Secret is born from the desire to capture the delicacy of Japanese femininity. Woman has a secret. Is beauty in the mystery they carry inside their bags. Beauty of the implicit. Beauty of the intimate. Release their sweet scent like a flower opens petal by petal in spring. Concept of the bags is recreating traditional Japanese crafts, their textures and designs making this ancient culture transcend through time.
