Clinton Hill Foodie: Anima Review
http://www.clintonhillfoodie.com/2008/09/anima-review.html
Sunday, September 28, 2008. 160; by Brian. One of my favorite restaurants in our neighborhood had been the late Il Torchio on Myrtle, which I've written up a couple of times before. Sadly, it wasn't long for this world, as the owners apparently decided that the food service racket wasn't for them, and sold it. Anima is the replacement, and last night I finally got a chance to go. For our main courses, we had the Penne Buttera and the Boneless Short Ribs. The penne is served with a sausage and green p...

Clinton Hill Foodie: Food and Puzzles for Dogs
http://www.clintonhillfoodie.com/2011/02/food-and-puzzles-for-dogs.html
Thursday, February 10, 2011. Food and Puzzles for Dogs. 160; by Brian. This is a bit off-topic, but it's my blog and I can post off-topic if I want to. And it's kind of relevant because it's about food, even if it's dog food. An egg-shaped treat dispenser that keeps him engaged for, well, hours. It's been a life saver, and it's also a lot of fun to watch him use it. So, today's post is a video of a dog playing with a toy getting his kibble. Yay, foodies. February 13, 2011 at 12:15 PM. Clinton Hill Foodie: Chez Oskar Review
http://www.clintonhillfoodie.com/2010/09/chez-oskar-review.html
Wednesday, September 8, 2010. 160; by Brian. A stalwart bastion of Frenchness. In Fort Greene, Chez Oskar's one restaurant everyone will get to at some point. I've been a few times, though not since starting this blog, which is why I never got around to reviewing it. Does it really need a review, though? Olivia's a new transplant for Fort Greene, so she'd never actually had any Chez. Liv did much better by picking the rabbit, which was absolutely perfect. Rabbit's another one of those meats that you ...

Clinton Hill Foodie: Dinner at Dino
http://www.clintonhillfoodie.com/2011/02/dinner-at-dino.html
Tuesday, February 1, 2011. 160; by Olivia. Since Brian has yet to visit the new neighborhood favorite Dino. I decided to take matters into my own hands. I am no photographer, so you'll still have to wait for those glorious images of gluttony, but I think I have the advantage in terms of writing style. Hopefully I can charm you critical readers with my heavenly prose. We hadn't planned to go to Dino. That one," he said. Brian's going to kill me," I said. Overall, I enjoyed Dino. Clinton Hill Foodie: 67 Burger
http://www.clintonhillfoodie.com/2007/12/67-burger.html
Saturday, December 1, 2007. 160; by Brian. After last night I didn't think I could handle any more red meat. It turns out I was wrong. But I wasn't positive I really wanted a burger yet. I did get to pop in Barking Brown. For the first time, though. Cute little shop with some really nice hats. Hats kick ass. A joint I'd never gotten a chance to go in. I didn't have my phone or camera with me, so you'll have to forgive the lack of pictures. The diet coke was a diet coke. December 1, 2007 at 5:32 PM. Also ...

Clinton Hill Foodie: Which Way to Go?
http://www.clintonhillfoodie.com/2011/01/which-way-to-go.html
Tuesday, January 11, 2011. Which Way to Go? 160; by Brian. Happy New Year, fellow foodies! Hope everyone made it through Blizzageddon '10/'11 all right. I got stuck in Vegas for a few extra days, but was otherwise unscathed. Now it's time to think about January eats, yeah? Some egregious holiday spending has curtailed my budget for eating out, so I haven't been sampling our local cuisine nearly as much as would be expected. I did get over to 67 Burger the other night, but other than that? My last visit w...

Tuesday, February 1, 2011. Clinton Hill Foodie Doubles in Size. 160; by Brian. Stand idly by while she yells at me for not posting that Madiba review or forgetting to credit her pictures. Instead, I've simply given her a login. I have no idea how often she'll post, but if she's got something to say, now she has a way to do it. Instead of hitting me. Filed under: site stuff. Clinton Hill Foodie: Pequena Review (and a Cake Man too)
http://www.clintonhillfoodie.com/2008/11/pequena-review-and-cake-man-too.html
Tuesday, November 25, 2008. Pequena Review (and a Cake Man too). 160; by Brian. Have been urging me to try No. 7, the new- ish. Restaurant on Greene Ave in Fort Greene, so last night we headed out, determined to give it a try. Unfortunately, it was closed. I don't know why, maybe they just don't like Mondays? Not to be deterred, we headed down the block to a restaurant I've been meaning to try for quite a while now, Pequena. We tried three separate entrees, although since it's mexican. First off, the ste...

Clinton Hill Foodie: Abistro Review
http://www.clintonhillfoodie.com/2008/08/abistro-review.html
Tuesday, August 19, 2008. 160; by Brian. Of Ted Allen, we recently hit up abistro. For brunch on a Sunday, eschewing our regular haunt of Olea. The space is small and a bit cramped, especially once it filled up. We got there at about 10:30, were seated, and then were almost immediately asked to move so they could accommodate a couple with a stroller. No big deal, but we went from a nice seat by the window to a table cramped back up against the kitchen. Ah, well. Was it worth it? Will I go back? Your pict...
