Whats New on the Site? What will the course look like? It will follow the successful design of the 2000 Sysdney Olympic AWWC. On a slightly smaller scale; it will use movable obstacles to create a series of rapids, waves, holes and eddies. A short 2nd channel will help expand the course capacity and contribute to a choice of channels. The flowing water will be lifted by pumps at up to 12 tonnes of water per second. Whats New on the Site? Robin's employer, Scottish Enterprise has seconded him to the project. As the project manager he is responsible for the technical aspects of the feasibility study. Robin is a keen paddler, having many 'first descents' to his name. He is river advisor for the Kelvin and Clyde amongst others and also a sea paddler. Big Up to everyone else! This years Scottish Canoe Exibition will be held on the 14/15 October 2000 at a new, larger and better venue- Dewar's Ice Rink, Glover Street, Perth. Whats New on the Site? It is proposed that the course will be sited within Strathclyde Country Park in North Lanarkshire next to the Watersport Centre. This is adjacent to the M74 Carlisle motorway, opposite Hamilton. The site was selected for a variety of reasons not least that it is accessible to all of Central Scotland and is very visible to tourists arriving from the South. Clydes momma: A Day In The Life Of A Fiberholic! Sunday, September 9, 2012. Recently, I saw a recipe for a soap scum cleaner. I tried it one day and love it. I did make some changes, though. My spray bottle didn't like it when it was a 1:1 ratio, so I made it a 2:1 mix of vinegar to Dawn. It works awesome, it even broke up some of the mineral buildup around my bathroom faucet. I use it in the toilet, on the sinks and the bathtub. One part Dawn Dish soap (the blue concentrated one). 3 parts white vinegar.
