Egen hjemmeside. Lavet for at være så enkel som muligt teknisk, så siden fungere på alle platforme – og grafisk, så siden ikke forstyrrer eksemplerne på ydelser, men stadig er interessant at se på. Day 1 was a bit chaotic and unsystematic. A few ideas were tried out, noticeably the “dannebrog” design. We imagined it being used in a grid like manner where it would be like a lot of eyes opening up. On the electronic side of things, the arduino was up and running, with all sensors except the movement which required a resistor which wasn’t currently available. The initial brainstorming were randomnicity and casual preparations have been the main focus. Mouritz came up with this shape that we all liked after trying to linearly amplify shapes through geometry, however these two concepts don’t mix well with the solid structure that the tetrahedron offers. Sandpile models on networks. Posted on July 14, 2011 by Jeppe Juul. Sandpile models were the first models found to exhibit self-organized criticality. Grains of sand are added on a lattice, one at a time, until the amount of sand on a site exceeds a specific threshold value at which time that site collapses transferring sand into the adjacent sites. If this causes the amount of sand there to exceed the threshold, an avalanche of sand may start. Self-organized criticality: An explanation of the 1/f noise.
