A little irreverent: March 2014
http://alittleirreverent.blogspot.com/2014_03_01_archive.html
Monday, March 31, 2014. We made it on the plane. This is a really charming hotel. Wow, we are right downtown. I think I slept on a yoga mat, that bed is hard. GINGER AT THE BEACH! There is nothing wrong with applying sunscreen with a butter knife. It's nice to spend time with that one guy I live with, what's his name again? I'm still recovering from jet lag. :). I thought I was dreaming, but it was real life. I'm still not over the euphoria of my shark dive. Arrrrgh, let's explore the pirate museum.

A little irreverent: Happy November
http://alittleirreverent.blogspot.com/2014/11/happy-november.html
Tuesday, November 4, 2014. This statement doesn't have anything to do with the rest of this post, but I'm so excited about it, I wanted to share it first. I'm going skydiving this Friday. Okay, now I can move on. I have a lot of stray quotes and conversations I want to share. Carry on and enjoy, if you'd like. (Oh, and I didn't proofread, again.). Watch out for the Whomping Willow. On the way to Hogwarts. O - "DAAAAAAD, I HATE bacon! L - "Who hates bacon? Where did you come from? O - "I love you! LT - "W...

A little irreverent: May 2014

Tuesday, May 27, 2014. Fieldwork, part 2 and then some. Our second fieldwork day was at the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History. We took a nice and LONG bus ride, SCHOOL bus ride to DC. It's a good thing the air conditioning worked, meaning all of the windows could open. Ha ha ha. The students have been learning and researching about butterflies, and there just happens to be a butterfly exhibit at the museum. How perfect! Well, she got a nice shot of the fan. A holding a caterpillar. O contemplating, o...

A little irreverent: October 2014
http://alittleirreverent.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
Sunday, October 26, 2014. A little bit Savage and a lot COLD. Here we are at the starting line. On a side note, I have a pretty pathetic camera and not only is it slow, but it pooped out shortly after we started. Before the next race in May, I am most definitely getting a different one. The actual name is really vulgar so I’ve renamed it for this post.). I was trying to get an awesome shot of the. Huge clamp used to hold the boards together,. And then Helen decided to jump in. It totally ruined my shot.

Team Williams: Kylie's First Birthday: The Cake
http://goteamwilliams.blogspot.com/2011/09/kylies-first-birthday-cake.html
Thursday, September 8, 2011. Kylie's First Birthday: The Cake. Luckily, I had my mom around to help give me the tips and tricks to decorating. I made a "practice cake" before I made Kylie's actual cake, and let me say, if you have the right tools, it's hard to screw one up. So here is the cake I made for Kylie. I just used the Wilton brand chocolate to dip the Oreos in and a little black decorator icing for the eyes, lines, and spots, and they were done. It was super easy and they are really yummy. Kylie...

Saturday, October 23, 2010. Early in my pregnancy with Kylie, I called her my little goldfish. Today she wore her goldfish shirt so we did a little photo shoot. She seems to be pretty photogenic. Her new thing is to eat her fingers. I love this crooked smile. She has recently discovered her hands! When Mommy dresses her, she gets bows in her hair! Daddy always "forgets" or takes them out. Last week we had a tear- and scream-free ride. What a milestone! I love that she is such a water baby. It was a reall...

Team Williams: August 2011

Thursday, August 11, 2011. Kylie LOVES Briggs, while he likes and tolerates her. Like any 10 month old, she doesn't know anything about personal space. Despite this, he is super gentle with her, lets her climb on him and allows her to invade his spaces. (Please admire the picture! In writing this post, I am regretting our decision.) Anyway, we decided we couldn't risk it happening again, so we thought it was best to find Briggs a new home. All of the kids love and adore him! We got to "dog-sit" Briggs la...

Wednesday, July 13, 2011. So we had a good Easter, although, I noticed that I forgot to think like a kid when planning for a few key Easter details. (Does that make sense? I forgot to get her an Easter basket! So, here are some photos:. Here is Kylie in her Easter dress. After church, the Easter Bunny placed eggs on our small front lawn for Kylie. Here are all of the eggs that she gathered. Such hard work! And what were her eggs filled with? Tuesday, July 12, 2011. Almost 10 months old. Here is Kylie and...
