東京工業大学COE21：最近の研究成果

細野秀雄教授と金聖雄研究員らは、名古屋大学工学研究科の太田裕道助教授、河本邦 仁教授 および、東京大学の幾原雄一教授らとの共同研究によって、人工宝石として 知られるありふれた酸化物チタン酸ストロンチウムを使って高い効率を示す熱電変換 材料の開発に世界で初めて成功しました。 本成果は、英国科学誌 ネイチャー マテリアルズ 電子版 に、2007年1月21日 英国時間 に公開されました。 谷岡明彦教授が、NEDOプロジェクト 先端機能発現型新構造繊維部材基盤技術の開 発 総事業費56億円、期間5年 に採択され、研究を開始することとなりました。 本プロジェクトは、独立行政法人新エネルギー 産業技術総合開発機構 NEDO技術 開発機構 が、 革新的部材産業創出プログラム 新産業創造高度部材基盤技術開 発 の一環として公募したものです。 受賞となった業績は 透明酸化物電子活性材料に関する研究 で、新領域 透明酸 化物絵エレクトロニクス の開拓など、分野横断型の研究成果が評価されています。 この賞は選考委員会が依頼による推薦を基に選考することになっており、ご本人は 全く 寝耳に水 の知らせだったそうです。 Fabri...
