Surf When You Can: February 2006
http://surfwhere.blogspot.com/2006_02_01_archive.html
Surf When You Can. Saturday, February 11, 2006. High Tide Board Breaker. As the day went along and the tide was going out, things got better. There was some texture on the surface, but the crowds thinned out completely and I was able to catch some great waves. They weren't epic, but still fun rides. Posted by Dan at 3:58 PM. Wednesday, February 01, 2006. So, in the internet age or information age, I use the internet, hit up a site called Wannasurf.com. Posted by Dan at 10:30 PM. Los Angeles, CA.

Surf When You Can: March 2006

Surf When You Can. Monday, March 27, 2006. I went to Whiff's page and saw a great clip of a 1st person perspective of different barrels. After looking at tha tclip, frontside rides gave me a bit of anxiety, sort of like real life. I feel way more comfortable going backside (which is left for me). Can't say what it is really. Surf When You Can: January 2006
http://surfwhere.blogspot.com/2006_01_01_archive.html
Surf When You Can. Sunday, January 22, 2006. I can't remember the water being this cold, ever. I should have expected that when I stepped out of the car and just started freezing. Not just a chill, but freezing. I suited up and went out. It was a nice day out, sun was shining, little wind, but small waves. Low tide was peaking around 8:20 at around 2' . After that, I was pretty much done. I hit the sandy floor on the next wave as well, but didn't get up at all. It was hairy getting back in cause ...I wen...

Surf When You Can: April 2006
http://surfwhere.blogspot.com/2006_04_01_archive.html
Surf When You Can. Thursday, April 27, 2006. I currently have 4 boards in my garage. Is it a quiver, I guess so. The latest acquisition is my friend's old board that I have yet to surf on. It's a 7'3 slug, which fits quite nicely amongst the other boards I have. Here's an intro to these boards that give me great rides in no particular order:. Those are it. My small arsenal of boards. Would I like to get something else? Posted by Dan at 11:54 AM. Sunday, April 23, 2006. Humans are turning things red.

Surf When You Can: August 2005
http://surfwhere.blogspot.com/2005_08_01_archive.html
Surf When You Can. Sunday, August 28, 2005. Yep, the red tide is back and in full force for the weekend at the home break. Quite depressing, but at least the waves were good. The first hour today was devoted to teaching a friend how to surf. After that, it was all "me" time with the 9'2. Because of the red tide, my sinuses are clogged once again and I'm on Benadryl D to clear it up. Hopefully, the sinuses end up drying out so I won't relapse with another sinus or ear infection. Training for surfing is not a new concept. Surfers are often found skating, doing yoga, or lifting weights when the waves are flat. They want to be ready to go when the waves are on. And although any form of exercise is good, surfers are best suited with a training approach that is specific to their sport- a program that meets all the demands and rigors of surfing. Surf Stronge. R is the first-of-its-kind training program geared for surfing. And develop CORE STRENGTH. Ah, Christmas in California. As ...

Surf When You Can: September 2005
http://surfwhere.blogspot.com/2005_09_01_archive.html
Surf When You Can. Tuesday, September 20, 2005. Sunday Short(er) Board, with a mix of Sinus Congestion. My sinuses are once again clogged. I am actually at home early from work cause I might be catchign something. It's not a good thing at all. Sudafed isn't living up to its end of the bargain by draining my sinuses. Then again, the water quality hasn't been all that great, so it has a tough job ahead. Now, I just have to be able to do that on purpose! Posted by Dan at 6:41 PM. Posted by Dan at 6:30 PM.

Surf When You Can: May 2006
http://surfwhere.blogspot.com/2006_05_01_archive.html
Surf When You Can. Wednesday, May 31, 2006. Sunday, the sun was shining and the wind was on the calm side. Was out there again for 3 hours with little drift to contend with. I was out there again for 3 hours, just catching everything I could. It helps to be riding a 9'2 and can just catch just about anything I wanted. I'm getting lazy out there. Posted by Dan at 7:32 AM. Monday, May 15, 2006. I resorted to Sudafed at 3am and thus, making me a bit drowsy for the Sunday morning session. I wake up only caus...
