ISOLDE and Neutron Time-of-Flight Experiments Committee. The INTC -established in August 1999- takes over the duties of evaluating proposals for experiments on the ISOLDE facility. That was formerly in the hands of the ISC. In addition it reviews the experiments proposed for the n TOF facility. The INTC works on a basis of three meetings per year. The committee's conclusions and recommendations are transmitted to the Research Board. Max-Planck-Institut f. Kernphysik, Heidelberg. CERN, 06 June 2016.

LHC Resources Scrutiny Group. The Scrutiny Group will receive for scrutiny, normally at the spring meetings of the RRBs, the Collaboration's proposals concerning the level, provision and sharing of Category A M&O costs for the following year, along wiht their reported Category B costs and the proposed responsibilities and commitments for these. It will then carry out its scrutiny activities and will submit its reports for each experiment to the autumn meetings of the RRBs.". LHC Resources Review Boards.

SPS and PS experiments Committee (SPSC). The committee was created at the end of 1989 to replace the SPSC and PSCC Committees. Part of the activities of the latter are being treated by the ISOLDE and neutron Time-Of-Flight experiments Committee ( INTC. The mandate of the committee is to referee the requests from the experimental teams on the basis of their physics interest and of the availability of the accelerators. Which takes the decisions. The SPSC meets about 5 times a year. CERN, 18 April 2016.

Taking a closer look at LHC. Taking a closer look at LHC. The origins of CERN are generally traced back to 1949, when the French theorist and Nobel laureate Louis de Broglie proposed setting up a new European laboratory to halt the exodus of physics talent from Europe to North America. A year later, at a UNESCO conference in Florence, the American Nobel-prize winner Isidor Rabi put forward a resolution calling on UNESCO ". There is also a second site at Prevessin in France.
