Daily Photo from Rancho Palos Verdes, California. Rancho Palos Verdes, California, is a suburban city south of Los Angeles. Part of the city overlooks the Pacific Ocean and Santa Catalina Island- twenty-six miles away. Thursday, November 18, 2010. My commute brings me home via the Vincent Thomas Bridge. This day the sunset was lovely. You can see Catalina Island in the distance, too. Wednesday, November 17, 2010. Tuesday, November 16, 2010. White Point Nature Preserve- #4. Monday, November 15, 2010.

Got home, went to post a picture, found that a lead piece of art had fallen from the wall and sliced through the internet cord. Bummer. Rachel E. Adams. Wednesday, May 28, 2008. Hong Kong Daily Photo. Shimmer and shine through smog. Sunday, November 23, 2008. I haven’t been doing much other than paddling for the month of November. I’ve put off blogging, drinking, e-mailing, going out, running, reading or writing for four weeks of hard training. I just started doing outrigger canoeing in October and have spent many long hours training, hoping to make the team for the Round Island Race that happened yesterday, the 23rd of November. I can’t count the number of times I heard:. Not m...

Hong Kong Daily Photo. Shimmer and shine through smog. Monday, June 23, 2008. Today I'm flying to Bangkok. I'll be taking the summer off from Hong Kong and this blog. These are the shoes I bought for my adventure. Don't they look rugged and able to take on anything? First I'm flying to Bangkok by myself, then on to Hanoi. I'm treating myself to a trip on my own - an early birthday present for my 40th in August. I'm back at work on August 18th. I have wandering to do until. Rachel E. Adams. Papa and kids ...

Hong Kong Daily Photo: September 2008
http://dailyphotohongkong.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html
Hong Kong Daily Photo. Shimmer and shine through smog. Thursday, September 25, 2008. On the bus on the way home yesterday, my seat mate and I looked up at the familiar buildings of Hong Kong and simultaneously gasped. To the left of the "Lightning Building" (which is the new Bank of China building), there used to be a neon sign writing over and over the letters AIG. Now the panel is dark. I guess US TAXPAYERS doesn't fit. Rachel E. Adams. Saturday, September 20, 2008. Kid on hammock with glow sticks.
