How You Can Help. In this 2nd activity, brought to you by Mrs Kraus and Mr Capaldi's class, students used different types of hands to capture fish (golf balls) which were thrown at them. They explored how different hands made the job easier. They tried an oven mitt hand, bare hand and a hand with sticky tape. They then looked at the adaptation of the Osprey's talons for catching fish. Osprey catch fish with talons. I don't think that Osprey would be able to get fish with an oven mitt! 124; Contact Us.
