Memories of Eastern Europe. Where the heck is Slovenia? We took a pletna boat ride out to The Island in Lake Bled to tour the church and ring the bell! There is a legend here that when you ring the church bell and make a wish, your wish will come true! Obviously, we all tried; but, I'll never tell what my wish was (or if it came true)! Mural in Tito's palace. A stroll around the lake. . . A leisurely stroll included non-stop photo opportunities; I could not take a bad picture of Lake Bled if I tried!
