Sharing photos with family and friends. Thursday, November 29, 2012. The rainy season has begun. After a morning of solid rain, the skies began to clear. Kirra and I went for a walk at the harbor. There were still a lot of clouds and very low tide, so I decided to head south after our walk. Here are a few photos from San Gregorio Beach. I love days like this. This is a iPhone photo using the Hipstamatic app. The seagulls like fresh water from San Gregorio creek. Seagull reflections on the wet sand.

While waiting for Tom to finish a construction project in Philo, I walked around and took photos of whatever caught my eye. Some photos are with my 24-105mm lens and some are with my 100mm macro lens. There is so much to see when you pay attention to the small details. I spotted this tiny insect sipping nectar from a pretty wildflower. Morning light on the acorns. I love the color of grape leaves in the autumn.

Sharing photos with family and friends. Thursday, May 24, 2012. 1 egg plus 1 egg yolk. 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese. 1/4 tsp. salt. Cook Potatoes. I cut in even size chunks and cook in steam basket until fork tender. Put through a ricer. Add butter; set aside and let cool. Add egg and egg yolk, flour, Bisquick, parmesan cheese and salt.
