Staff and Contact Info. The 2016 Atlanta Photojournalism Contest will open on September 1, 2016 at 12:00 am. Because all entries are delivered electronically, only digital entries are accepted. It is ok to digitally scan photographs originally captured on film. Entrants do not need to attend the Seminar. Content must have been captured between Nov. 1, 2015 and Oct. 31, 2016 (see contest rules for picture story exceptions). Content does not need to have been published. Will be held November 11-12, 2016.

All judging will take place on Friday, November 11, 2016. Winners will be announced during the Seminar on Saturday, November 12, 2016, and posted on our website shortly after our awards ceremony. 1,000 for Best Portfolio and a Nikon Camera. 750 for 1st place Rich Mahan Student Portfolio and a Nikon Camera.
