Chimichurri Sandwich Rolls | The Cooking Cobb

https://cookingcobb.com/2012/02/12/chimichurri-sandwich-rolls

February 12, 2012. This is a great roll for hamburgers and other sandwiches. They are soft and have a great herby flavor. 2 tsp white wine vinegar. 3 tbs olive oil. 1 teaspoon garlic powder. 3 tbs chopped french-fried onions or dry minced onion. 1 1/2 tsp salt. Combine ingredients and knead until it forms a soft, smooth dough. I use a stand mixer with a dough hook, but use whatever method you’re most comfortable with. Place dough in a greased bowl and cover. Let rise for a couple hours. Build a website w...

Spaghetti and Meatball Sauce. January 31, 2012. Filed under: Main Dishes. This recipe is inspired by one that my husband’s Grandma Lil makes. She shared her recipe with me in 1994 when we were stationed at Ft. Polk, Louisiana. I like to make a big batch and freeze some for later, but it can easily be cut in half. 1 pkg Italian sausage. 4 – 28 oz cans crushed tomatoes. 2 – 15 oz cans tomato sauce. 4 cloves garlic, minced. 2 onions, chopped. Stir in the meatballs and serve over pasta. Get every new post de...

Smoked / Sous Vide Pulled Pork. June 16, 2013. For Father’s day my husband wanted pulled pork sandwiches and coleslaw. I wanted to try it sous vide, but also give it some smokey flavor. I was really pleased with the results. It was pull-apart tender and really made a nice sandwich. Here’s what you will need:. 1 pork roast (I used a pork shoulder). Put the pork and 2 cups of barbecue sauce (or to taste) into a bag and seal. Roasted Garlic Beef Roast. September 25, 2011. Filed under: Main Dishes. To roast ...

Cooking, Cocktails, Couture. Cooking, drinking, sewing, and a little more drinking. February 8, 2015. February 8, 2015. Last night I made my favorite crock pot meal for my last supper before starting my 3 week healing diet. I love African peanut stew because it’s warm and hardy and is one of those dishes where you think the ingredients will taste terrible together but instead it makes something unlike anything you’ve tasted before. 2 cans of diced tomatoes (I prefer fire roasted). 1 can garbanzo beans.
