Sunday, September 7, 2008. He got the whole world in his hands. But i guess what can be gotten out from this advertisment is not only the humor but some lessons as well. Communication can be both verbal and non verbal and over here, is of course non verbal. I really like tis ad and i would have to agree with you tat it matches the what the company is trying to portray. the song in the background also gives us a idea of what is happening in the ad, though many of us may not have expected it to be so l...

jastwq*: Kallang Roar
http://jastwq.blogspot.com/2008/09/kallang-roar.html
Saturday, September 13, 2008. This movie is recently being shown here in the cinemas. It is a film that is worth watching in my opinion. Directed by Cheng Ding An, it speaks of how football shapes a nation idendity. Kallang Roar showed how a man's undying love for a country can inspire the whole country. But above all, the lessons that can be learnt from this movie is sacrifice and patience. In order to get some things in life, others have to be sacrificed and patience is definitely needed if suc...Quote...

com101 rambling: cultural imperialism in singapore?
http://gurgkle.blogspot.com/2008/10/cultural-imperialism-in-singapore.html
Cultural imperialism in singapore? Opened in Singapore at CHIJMES in November 2006. Customers at Cosafe are served by girls dressed in Victorian maid attire and in full anime make up. Instead of "Welcome! Can occur. . Illustration by Jillian Tamaki. Why then do all these cultures so easily seep into our society? Is it because that Singapore has a weak culture to begin with? Do we always have to follow others in order to be cool? When will Singapore finally find our own niche? October 23, 2008 at 9:23 PM.

com101 rambling: with shades and charms
http://gurgkle.blogspot.com/2008/09/with-shades-and-charms.html
With shades and charms. Is a fascinating game. Mostly dependent on luck but very much on skill as well, it calls for a great deal of thorough thinking and processing the chances that one has to win the game. What makes a good poker player, is his/her ability to read the game well. How can you read the game, is by simply observing other players' body cues. What then easily gives a person away, when he/she bluffs. Is the movement of the eyes, otherwise known as oculesics. Photo of Phil Ivey, by pokerwire.

All about the stages? What makes up a relationship? Do you believe that relationships are all about following stages of progression? Be they for the building up or breaking down of one? Certainly thinks so. The relationship model. That he came up with consists of 10 stages, 5 each for coming together and coming apart. Stages 1-5 (Coming together). Stages 6-10 (Coming apart). Brawl of the browsers. As some of you may be aware, Google has launched a new browser earlier this week named Google Chrome (GC). Now, what is one of the first things that you do after switching on your computer? It may not dawn on you, but the fact is that we absorb much information from the internet. Be they from entertainment blogs, personal accounts of events written in personal blogs or online editions of newspapers and magazines, these myriad choices often present to us an overload of informati...

com101 rambling: to be lonely, or be a group-ie
http://gurgkle.blogspot.com/2008/10/to-be-lonely-or-be-group-ie.html
To be lonely, or be a group-ie. It has been argued that all humans survive on affection, and what better way to obtain affection than joining a group which you feel comfortable in? Some people join a group for status and prestige, some join to feel included in the daily activities, others simply for the company. How often is it that you were asked to do the menial tasks by the senior members? After gaining the status of a full member. How much is it that you did onto the prospective members. I find the c...
