Colombia at last and a new shock absorber. I got my brain scanned by mistake in Panama City. Costa Rica beaches, frogs, jungle and a few parasites. A ‘little bit’ of bad luck in Nicaragua. Beautiful Honduras’ shocking homicide rates. Weapons in every corner in El Salvador. Colourful and beautiful Guatemala. Belize Smiles, Reggae and Sunset. Mexico we just loved it. Chased by a horny bull in deep sand. The ‘amazing’ and ‘awesome’ USA. Canada bears, glaciers, forest, forest, forest. We conquered our fear.

When we arrived to Thailand, we visited the office in Mae Sot. Located in Thailand PARTNERS RELIEF AND DEVELOPMENT supports the people in Burma. The ceasefire in 2012 was just the first step on a long way to achive a better life for them. Children who had to leave their families as life in the refugee camp is still safer than in their home villages.

Travel-Laos Short and long tours to Laos organised by Doua Mansourl, English speaking guide based in Luang Prabang. My country suffered greatly from indiscriminate US B52 bombing in the 1960s and 1970s and became the most bombed country in history of the world. The Vietnam war spilled over into Laos. The American bombing has been described as ‘a secret war’ because it was largely unreported at the time and is not well known even now. The extent of the bombing can be seen from the map. We donate 5% of mon...

Diesen Blog habe ich anlässlich meines Auslandsaufenthalts in Australien erstellt und werde ihn sicherlich auch zukünftig für Reiseberichte nutzen, wohin auch immer es mich verschlägt. Thailand – Laos – Thailand – Vietnam (.and how to avoid rip offs). Temporäre Fluten in Chiang Mai. Der zweite Tag w...

Wednesday, April 14, 2010. How are you today. Were back in Vientiane today and it's really hot-over 40 degrees! We had to take a plane ride back to Vientiane from Luang Prabang and it only took 30 min but driving took 9 hours. It's New Year's right now =in the middle of April! And people are throwing buckets of water on everyone in the street! It's the biggest water fight ever. There even people in the back of trucks throwing water! We're always wet but it cools us off! That's all for now! Luangprabang O...
