The History of Corner Cottage. Because of its unique position, at the side of Greta Bridge and in the shadow of Greta Hall, Corner Cottage, and the buildings that preceded it, have appeared in numerous engravings and photographs through the centuries. The earliest depiction of the bridge that we have found is a water colour sketch by Joseph Farington RA from around 1789. The large tree would appear to be approximately where the cottage stands today. Joseph Farington RA c.1789. Thomas Creswick, 1811-1869.

Corner Cottage in Keswick. Corner Cottage has two bedrooms, one small double and one twin/super Kingsize double with room for a cot (not provided). The cottage is organised for up to four guests (seating, dining etc.) but there is also a fold out metal frame sofa-bed in the lounge to provide flexibility in the sleeping arrangement. Outside there is a secluded, walled garden with a patio area provided with table, brolly and four chairs. A barbeque is also available. Maps on Your Phone.

Corner Cottage is our holiday home in Polruan, Cornwall. It is not currently available for holiday rental. The house from the garden. Polruan at Regatta time. And French Martini truffles. 2011 was full of huge courgettes. And my first foray into marshmallow making. We celebrated a royal wedding with Eton Mess Jack-arons,. And Corner Cottage Bakery's first birthday with a big rainbow cake. Were also some of my favourites from that year. Going to see the dressage at the Olympics was brilliant. Oh And I got married.
