Existential Indulgence: February 2015
http://passionateexistence.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
Tuesday, February 24, 2015. On how Delhi had eclipsed Beijing for the dubious distinction of world's most dangerously polluted city. Oh joy. View from my hotel window through the "winter fog.". During the week, while recovering from jet lag, we managed to make it out a couple nights to explore the city. Will and I went on a meandering walk in search of the Old Fort. but it was closed for Shiva's birthday (the Indians have an astonishing number of holidays). Cool place, though. So it was that Saturday mor...

Existential Indulgence: June 2015
http://passionateexistence.blogspot.com/2015_06_01_archive.html
Tuesday, June 30, 2015. Welcoming Viviana Perla Stout. On June 18, 2015, at 10:18am, Jennifer and I were delighted to welcome into the world our daughter Viviana Perla Stout. Her name: Perla is a family name from my mother's side: my maternal grandmother's maiden name from her native Italy. It means "pearl" in both Italian and Spanish. Viviana we love because of its intrinsic femininity, its rhythmic sound, its international applicability, and its meaning: full of life! Bearing Thai food and beer! We sta...

Free as a Berde. 8230; a blog by a Berde in the Bay Area. Long Weekend →. April 29, 2015. It was another eventful weekend of exploring San Francisco (and its surrounding areas) on two wheels. We pedaled fewer miles than previous weekend rides but had a ton of fun, despite making a few poor decisions along the way. People lined both sides of the streets, cheering on the runners about to finish this race — and here we are, two crazy chicks on bikes riding in the middle of all these runners. Fortu...Our act...

Free as a Berde. 8230; a blog by a Berde in the Bay Area. May 24, 2015. With Randi away this weekend at the Jewish Outdoor Leadership Training. At Camp Tawonga, my parents’ early departure meant that I had today all to myself. It’s my 2nd to last weekend before moving to camp, which means I have a mile-long list of work that I could (should) be doing; today, however, I prioritized the non-work things. Made coffee and breakfast at 4 AM. Drove to and from Oakland airport (45 min each way). Made walnut pest...

Kimmie Kay's Victory Garden: June 2010
http://kksw.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
Kimmie Kay's Victory Garden. Stories and ramblings about sowing, weeding and reaping. Thursday, June 3, 2010. Ok - so where I last left off.I was doing a cleanse in preparation for my 32nd Birthday. It went fine.until I got strep throat. When I emailed my "coaches" their main advice was to do another cleanse after I was off the antibiotics. I said "uhm, that's more $ than I want to spend" and they said "nothing". So - then I happened onto a cleanse by a woman here in Boulder, Eloise Nelson.

So - disappointingly - I have had to stall on the end of the cleanse. I've been doing shake days for this week.but as far as weight loss I think it's stalled out. I'm down 8 lbs - which I really need to look at as a positive thing. I was just hoping for more. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Longmont, CO, United States. View my complete profile.
