Thursday, March 10, 2011. Grapes Geometry, 2D-3D Shapes. When I saw marshmallow and toothpick construction post @ Pink and Green Mama Blog. My head was running with ideas on how to make shapes with something similar to marshmallows but not marshmallows. I have not given CJ marshmallows. She has a sweet tooth and I didn't want to add marshmallows to the list. So We made geometric shapes, 2D and 3D, using toothpicks and grapes as connectors. All you need is grapes and toothpicks. I got the idea of thumbprint train from the book - Ed Emberley's Complete Funprint Drawing Book. Before painting on the canvas we tried thumbprints on construction paper. We also tried packing peanuts stamping.

Small paper plates - 3 no. Using Glue stick apply glue on the wrong side of the plates. Glue them one by one in a vertical row on a construction paper. you get the basic snowman shape. Saw this clock craft work in Shama. Aunty's blog and I wanted to make one like that , with help from my amma .made this today .and I enjoyed making it. Cut the paper plate in round shape . Wrote the numbers from 1 -12. For hours and minutes hand , we used a old greeting card .
