Having a Ball: April 2009
http://simplyhavingaball.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html
Tuesday, April 7, 2009. A good friend of mine has a sister who does photography as a hobby. She offered to take some newborn pictures of Marlie for free. I am so grateful! She did such a wonderful job at capturing Marlie's sweet spirit in these photographs. I will forever treasure them. Thank you so much Kati! Also, thanks Nicki for the sweet hook up and introducing me to your awesome sister. I'm back in school now, so that means one of two things. Either I won't post at all because I am so swamped w...

Having a Ball: January 2010
http://simplyhavingaball.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
Sunday, January 10, 2010. I've been reflecting back on this past year and thinking of all the great (and not so great) times that came with 2009. It seems like 2009 was a huge rollercoaster. But you know what? I wouldn't change a thing about it. Here are some of the highlights . . . And watching our little girl grow. With the big Keetch family . . . Pregnant and not letting that slow me down. About our little girl's heart and overall health. The child we were expecting and rejoicing. Marlie . . . We are ...

So here we go . . . Jarom and I just celebrated our 2 year anniversary on the 6th (Ya, I know we were married on 6-6-6). Let me tell you though, I did not plan to get married on June 6, 2006. I've since made a complete recovery and haven't had any problems with it at all really. No, he was trying to be strong and happy.

The Stamping Rooster: May 2015
http://stampingrooster.blogspot.com/2015_05_01_archive.html
Sunday, May 31, 2015. Twenty years later, and I finally returned to Paris. Since we took the redeye, I planned a quiet first day exploring Montmartre. View from our hotel room. We stopped by our hotel first to drop off our bags and were courteously greeted by the staff of the Hotel Des Arts. After reviving ourselves with food (very good food), we set off to explore. We braved the crowds on the steps leading up to Sacre Coeur. Paris cemeteries are beautiful places to explore. And we had a purpose for ...
