Monday, February 16, 2009. What have I been up to the last month, you ask? I have been reacquainting myself with this great country we call the U.S. of A. First, there was a trip to see the PBR. Three things of note:. 1) They really do say a prayer before the bull riding begins. 2) The tour is sponsored by the US Border Patrol. Saturday, January 10, 2009. 1) Gain 5 Pounds. 2) Don't become a vegetarian. 3) Update this blog regularly. Well, at least two out of three are in the bag. This year, I flew right over home in the Midwest and landed in the Northwest for the holidays. bringing with me the biggest snowstorm Portland's seen in 40 years. Luckily, my flight was only delayed a few minutes, but my mom and Keil's mom had 6 hour delays. Ouch. They were actually pretty easy to make, but very messy when it came to licking the beaters.

Thursday, May 31, 2007. Mary bought me a tasty bratwurst for my pre-birthday, and it was so tasty. It only cost 1.40 and was the most delicious bratwurst I've ever had. Sunday, July 29, 2007. I am back from an uber-relaxing week in the highlands of the Czech Republic. I spent the time at my extended family's cottage relaxing, sunbathing, eating, drinking, walking, bonding with cousins, brushing up on my Czech (I can now say "delicious! Tuesday, March 25, 2008. Please don't go to Walmart. It's so easy to just not shop there. Even Barack Obama agrees. It disturbed me. The reality - who really needs new plates from anywhere? I had some stored in my garage I did not want to dig out and put in my rental. The person who gave up the perfectly useable plates I bought at Goodwill likely is now using new plates they bought (at Wal-Mart or elsewhere). PS: Anyone need to rent a 2/2 condo in Naples, FL?
