Tuesday, September 13, 2011. Tegan also had her first day of school last week. She'll be in preschool for 2 years, same as Graye. She was a little more hesitant than Graye was, but as soon as she sat down and started talking to the other girls she was fine! No looking back now! Monday, September 05, 2011. Graye's First Day of Kindergarten. Graye had his first day of Kindergarten last week, and so far so good! He was exhausted by the end of the day, but still wanted to go back that evening, haha!

Friday, April 05, 2013. Wow I have been more than delinquent with updates to this blog. I'll try and do a quick catchup and then keep this more up to date again! We got a new puppy! Piper is a Springer/Setter cross. She is super soft, loves cuddles and hugs and is the biggest troublemaker ever. As puppies are, I guess. We had Halloween with a butterfly and Batman! Also, Tegan got a haircut, after which the hairdressers all gathered around her to try out this new "hair do" - a bow on top of her head!

Friday, December 09, 2011. And we've hit Christmas! We just decorated the tree last weekend, and it's starting to feel very Christmas-y around here, despite the lack of snow. Don't worry all you Vancouverites, it is still Ridiculous Cold. But with no snow, so not even worth it. But still - I am feeling very joyous and festive. True story. Onwards. The Tree! Each kid beside their side of the house - different personalities do you think? See you in the New Year! Graye even managed to beat Ryan's score!

The end of another school year. Canada Day →. Water Bombers in Stony. July 4, 2015. To have front row seats! By the end of the afternoon they had the fire out, the air strip re-opened, and the town relieved! The water bomber coming over our house to the water at the back. View from the docks as the planes come in. The break in the trees right below the plane is our house! My favourite picture of them all – the kids were mesmerized! When the fish aren’t biting….go play in the mud! July 21, 2015. Two weekends ago we went for a boat ride to check out Burr Falls – waterfalls that are about a 40 minute boat ride away from Black Lake. We had some boat trouble that left us convinced we were going to have to paddle our way back to Black Lake (which would have taken MUCH longer than 40 minutes! But once he problem was figured out, we had smooth sailing for the rest of the day – once again, a fantastic day exploring! July 22, 2015 at 3:34 am.

Sunday, October 16, 2011. Mark went fishing earlier in October with Cam, Curtis, Mike, Mike and Kent. They went for 3 nights up north.a 5 hour drive. Cam and Mark left Friday after work and arrived at 1 in the morning. Mark caught 8 pike fish.and they are yummy! They went to Mirond Lake and stayed at Silence of the North cabins. Good times had by all. They brought a camping stove and had a fish fry for lunch at the side of the lake. Couldn't get fresher than that! Cam caught 8 fish too!
