There is no greater impediment to the advancement of knowledge than the ambiguity of words. -Thomas Reid. Monday, October 24, 2005. It doesn't matter what time I go- we have a conflict once a day. It used to be about 2pm, so I avoided that time slot. It worked for a few days. Then he started coming at 2:30 instead! 1 Going to a different bathroom. 2 Coming back to my office in despair. I usually choose the latter unless need dictates otherwise. Posted by Jordan at 10:51 AM. Thursday, October 20, 2005.

Monday, May 29, 2006. To those who gave their lives for our freedom - the ultimate sacrifice. May they never be forgotten. Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends." - John 15:13. In the beauty of the lilies Christ was born across the sea, With a glory in His bosom that transfigures you and me: As He died to make men holy, let us die to make men free; While God is marching on." Thursday, July 27, 2006. This is a serious update on my life for those who care. Mall, and about 3 miles from Katie's cosmetology school. Our townhouse is more like a 2 story apartment. I might get some pictures up later. It was really an answer to prayer and has been a wonderful blessing. The location is great, it's pretty big (bigger than a lot of apartments we looked at at least), and the price was perfect. Everything here is a lot more expensive than you'd think. Last week I had to have a physical, d...

Obedience vs. Revolution. In the (extremely long) set of comments for the last post, I was reminded of a question that has existed in my mind for a long time. I haven't put much thought into it yet, but I would like to eventually find a reasonable answer if possible. Was the American Revolution biblical? None It epitomizes ...

Veritas: July 2008
http://homelessinus.blogspot.com/2008_07_01_archive.html
Wednesday, July 9, 2008. I heard an ad on the radio today against smoking. It began with, "if you get a spot on your shirt, you wipe it off." Upon listing a few things you could wipe spots off of, the radio-person explained how you could not wipe a spot off your lungs - a spot created by smoking. The argument then continued, "the majority of those who get lung cancer die." But they were wrong. The reality is all who get lung cancer die, because everyone dies. What a stupid comment.

Wednesday, July 9, 2008. So I'm going to start blogging again. We'll see what happens. I've had enough to complain about recently to motivate me to write. If I get apathetic or die or something, I'll probably stop. Here's my original blog, which itself is a link:. Http:/ christianmercenary.blogspot.com. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Anybody Want A Tic Tac?: January 2008

Anybody Want A Tic Tac? Sunday, January 6, 2008. Well, hello. My husband has been pushing me for months now to start a blog, and for all of you who know Matt you know he doesn't give up very easily. As for me, I have a tendency to eventually give in to his silly ideas - like this one. I'm not sure if anyone is really going to read the silliness I will have to write, but here it goes. So, I suppose I should start by explaining the title of my blog, "Anybody Want A Tic Tac? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
