And the first one WAS too big, so I guess it balances out, right? 2 Responses to “Ze Sockz”. April 29, 2007 at 7:44 pm. Shall you ever update?

Can I knit here? We’re teen knitters. There are loads of knitting books for teenagers out there, so it should be easy to find good patterns for us, right? Unfortunately, most of these books are by adults who really have no idea what we like. Ick. This page was created to review any teen knitting books we come across. That way, you won’t accidently order a book that’s supposed to be cool but really’s just a bunch of ugly patterns written by someone’s old Aunt Gertrude. A egg cozy shaped like a hat. You ar...

Can I knit here? We’re teen knitters. April 10, 2007. Magknits Review, March 2007. Posted by Inky under Review. 8211; Well, it’s not hugely original, but I like it. It’s simple. Just a little too simple for my taste. I guess it is pretty classically “manly,” and that’s the point. 8211; I am much enarmored by the stitch pattern, but the socks themselves look sort of chunky and strange. And the electric blue color, while lovely, is not as man-friendly as the pattern says, at least not to the men I know.

February 12, 2007 at 11:38 pm ( Uncategorized. I’m good with mismatched, yet still vaguely coordinating pairs of socks. They are fun, and you don’t have to unwind, rewind, and unwind the yarn again and again to get what you want. But when the sock yarn that striped up into a perfectly nice palette of colors last sock suddenly turns into a hideous landscape of *twitch* goldenrod, I put my foot down. No pun intended. Knitting to Stay Sane. August 4, 2015 · 4:34 pm. Midsummer sock yarn adventures. Greetings dear blog friends! 8230;and started another pair. Now suddenly it is August and I’m not entirely sure how we got to August, and yet here we are again. We still have a month of summer left and yet by the time we get here, all of a sudden it seems viable to start talking about fall things like sweater knitting and back-to-school supplies, and I swear I saw some Halloween candy on sale the other day. Not quite done yet.
