I was really happy with the way it turned out, and, more importantly, she was too. This was just a regular snapshot they had taken of him in his highchair, but the expression and lighting were perfect for a picture. This is one of my favorite portraits I have done so far! The most snow we got was a dusting. But look at this year. I haven't seen this much snow in this town since I was two years old. She didn't like it at all :(. Everyday Thoughts About Everyday Things. Monday, January 10, 2011. I live once again in the sunny south, where we wear t-shirts on Thanksgiving and have 70 degree Christmases. All this snow came, the day after Christmas, the closest thing to a white Christmas that any of us have seen. Princess definitely had fun! This is our snow-covered house! Wednesday, May 3, 2017. New Handprint Quilt Done! I'm thrilled that this quilt went together so smoothly and quickly. Sunday was a big sewing day and I also spent Monday afternoon. Tuesday I took off and got a lot done with few interruptions. I spent time planning of course and two shopping trips for fabric. Tuesday evening and Wednesday were when I hand sewed the binding. I ended up using almost all the fabric I got, so the amounts were pretty close to what I needed. The quilt size is about 48" x 60".

For my youngest son’s fourth birthday, we recently took him to Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida! We had days planned from morning to night with reservations, character dinning, shows, and adventures. His actual birthday, the day we visited Magic Kingdom, was probably one of the best days of his life, so far. We were ecstatic! Do we envision harps? It Is Disney World.
