Wednesday, August 26, 2009. My goodness, it's true: americans are so fat. i'm not even joking. In seoul they have designated seats for everyone and i used to get mad even if they were big enough to spill over the indfvidual seat line a little and squish me. Here, nyc has bench style seating on subways and good grief, not only do overweight people hog the bench to themselves, but in an unrelated rant. Some people are just not conscientious of what's going on around them and i can't stand those people.

Thursday, July 1, 2010. What are some ways to relieve stress? That was the question on my students homework and i just love one of his answers. i can't remember anything else he wrote but this (not verbatim):. Sports are a good way to relieve stress because you get sweaty and then take a shower and feel like you're flying". I'm sure i made a few grammatical corrections for the boy, but he the point is he did shed light on something new and interesting to me. Please excuse me now, i'm heading to the gym.
