The boatyard for the professional and the leisure seaman alike. Skipness Engineering is the general engineering arm of Crinan Boatyard. Projects have included designing, fabricating and installing iron roof trusses for the re-activated Bruichladdich distillery’s new bottling hall. Also some of the original and historic machinery was refurbished, including a 120-year-old bobby mill, used to crush the malt in the initial stages of whisky production. They specialise in long term engineering projects.

Une jolie brise nous fait longer la côte à toute vitesse et le paysage défile rapidement. Maintenant nous longeons la magnifique côte ouest de l'ile de Jura à quelques encablures: sauvage mais douce à la fois avec ses belles plages de galets dont certaines sont suspendues au-dessus de petites falaises. Les plages suspendues de Jura. Grillade sur Jura, West Loch Tarbert.

Here, near Oban, we have a workshop and administrative office close to Dunstaffnage Marina. This base allows our local engineers to provide service in the Argyll area. There is no display facility here, If you need to visit, please call first. BEE Ltd opened in Oban in 2002, to provide service to the fishing and ferry fleets. There are many marinas and anchorages in the area, and we are happy to travel to all of them. Oban Marina. Is on the Isle of Kerrera, and is served by their free regular ferry.
