Friday, August 23, 2013. Another VIM Team Last Day. When we arrived this morning, surprise, the grounds were trash free. And, the rubble on the church floor was completely gone. The church had been completely swept. We also banned pot and pans that were being brought from homes. Some people were taking food home. This also caused some minor irritation. Friday, March 9, 2012. Day 7, Tuesday, March 6, 2012. Talk about a parking lot. This morning, it took over two hours to drive less than 15 miles. At one location, a pothole was being patched. That created a one lane bottleneck. At two other locations, trucks were broken down. Since the trucks are repaired where they stop, two other bottlenecks were created. Within the bay area we saw many yachts coming in from what appears to have been a race past Stradbroke Island, and we found ourselves having to dodge around much of the traffic as boats approached the channel. The scene was quite picturesque though, and there is nothing like watching sailboat after sailboat line up to come back home into their marina.
