Adri's Art: Little Mouse
http://adrisart.blogspot.com/2012/08/little-mouse.html
Monday, August 27, 2012. I can't stop working! I am having so much fun with the animal series. I think I can do anything. This is another little painting (4"x6") that I finished. It has a lot of texture. I don't know what it is about this theriocephaly art that attracts so many people. I saw some very cool Photoshoped pictures of human bodies with animal head. Now I'm working on the figurines to go with the painting. Stay tuned :). He is just so cute! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). These Are The Days.

Adri's Art: A little break and painting with oils
http://adrisart.blogspot.com/2013/03/a-little-break-and-painting-with-oils.html
Saturday, March 16, 2013. A little break and painting with oils. I worked so hard during the holidays! First, the shows and fairs and then the commissions. I finished my last Christmas commission on February 15. Little ornaments made with clay. I learned so much about fairs and festivals I think I can write a book. I think I over did it though. My husband helped me so much. Going with me (and the kids) setting up the booth, going to pick me up and taking care of 4 kids while I'm there. Welcome to my blog!

Adri's Art: Inspiration
http://adrisart.blogspot.com/2013/03/inspiration.html
Saturday, March 30, 2013. When I show on fairs, shows and any kind of market I'm always asked the same question. Where does your inspiration comes from? Inspiration comes from so many different places. It can be a movie, a chat, another artist, your kids and even a vision in your head. This is a WIP (work in Progress) of "Sam" from the movie "Moonrise Kingdom". So, Where does inspiration comes from? For me each painting has it's own story. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Adri's Art: Getting real
http://adrisart.blogspot.com/2013/09/getting-real.html
Thursday, September 05, 2013. When I started painting I use to paint very naive faces and backgrounds. I love naive art and I still make paintings in that style but as I keep studying painting I stated painting more realistic. I don't like photo realistic painting so much but I like when you can create something surreal. This cow is inspired by the 15th century painting " Isabella of Portugal" and a happy cow. My daughter name her "The Queen of the Bovines". The Queen of the Bovines" acrylic on canvas.

Adri's Art: Dioramas
http://adrisart.blogspot.com/2013/07/dioramas.html
Sunday, July 14, 2013. When I watched the movie "dinner for schmucks" I was amazed by the dioramas in the movie. I thought how cool would it be to put the little dolls I am already making with a background. The idea grew stronger as one of my clients told me that she loved my figurines but she wouldn't know where to put them and she made the comment "if this one was in a painting I would hung it" so that comment was the last sign to put my little creations in a shadow box. Welcome to my blog!
