Derek kindly sent me a replacement ignition switch as well as confirming my wiring diagram. A perfect excuse to take the car in and enjoy what turned out to be a perfect Spring day. Being a bunch of engineers, there are some really cool cars, including a 1912 Model T, a Model A truck and some 60s, 70s and 80s muscle. And after a sunny evening buzzing about I can report 10/10 starts so far, and counting….

For a couple of years ago I bought Powerflex polyurethane bushes and replaced the rubber bushes. There are many ways to make bushes, and I decided to try to mould my own. Partly because I don't have access to a lathe, but mostly because I'd like to see if it would work out. The result was surprisingly good and I put it in the car and test drove it. No play and no binding!
