Thursday, December 18, 2008. As the camp has expanded so has the scope of our lighting project. We ran out of supplies and time to complete the installation, and training on upkeep of the system. Terry and I are heading back to Rwanda the middle of January to finish the project.stay tuned. I was also able to do another lantern distribution with our coffee farmers! Monday, November 21, 2011. I just checked in with the old blogspot. Yikes! Could it really have been over a year since I've been on here? Lots has happened with 50 Lanterns and to me personally. Two distribution in Haiti, training in Nicaragua and a nasty bout of Lyme's disease to name a few. I will do my best to get this blog up to speed and make regular updates in the coming year. Today we sadly mourn the death of our wonderful colleague, Louise Bodji, who has been the Income Generation Program Coordinator in Nyabiheke Camp since the program started in 2006.
