Raw bananas – 2. Grated coconut -2 tbs. Aniseed – 1tsp. Cumin seeds – 1tsp. Fried chickpea (porikadalai) – 2tsp. Channa dhal – 1 ½ tsp. Garlic – 3 big pods. Small onions – 6. Green Chilli – 1. Oil – for frying. Boil the bananas till well cooked. Peel and mash them. In a little oil fry aniseed, cumin, fried chickpea, channa dhal, garlic and onions for 2-3 minutes. Finally add coconut, and remove from fire. Grind this fried masala together to form a fine paste. Form small round balls and deep fry in hot oil.

Green Peas – ¼ kg. Oil – 2 tsp. Salt – to taste. Grind to a paste:. Big onion – 1. Green chillies – 4. Grated fresh coconut – 2tbs. Cook peas separately till soft and drain water.
