Screaming for Ice cream. Hello all you beautiful people! Hope you are all doing well, and I hope that spring has reached you where ever you are. I wish I could say that spring has reached me here in northern Sweden, but yesterday we had a snow storm, and it seems like spring will never come. I wanted to write a post about this really easy-to-make ice cream, and I thought that the end of April would be a good time to share the recipe because the weather has warmed up then, but no Sir! 4 dl whipping cream.

In the week leading up to Christmas I get in an incredibly "bakey" mood. All I want to do is bake, eat and sing christmas songs. I thought I'd share some photos and the how-to of a baked wreath that I made, that was a major success at work and in the family. I'm personally very pleased with it, if I may say so myself. The dough is the traditional Swedish saffron bun dough, that I shared last Christmas on the blog ( here. 50 grams fresh yeast. 1,5 dl sugar. 100 50 grams butter. 200 grams almond paste.

Using both hands, roll the hair closest to the nape of your neck towards your head, starting from behind one ear, until you reach the other side of your head. Hanging on to that twist – which will act as 1/3 of your braid – start parting the remaining hair into 2 even sections, just the way you do with a regular braid.
