Thursday, June 17, 2010. Curt and I enjoying the sand in front of our beach house. One day we drove to Cape Meares to see the lighthouse and this crazy old tree called "Octopus Tree". It's hundreds of years old and "experts" aren't quite sure how it formed the way it did. Here's a shot from Cape Meares. Anyone else thinking Goonies? This is the lighthouse at Cape Meares. Notice the broken glass panels? Me at Cape Meares. Another shot from Cape Meares looking the other direction. Sunset on Manzanita Bay.

http://alisonfortheeveryday.blogspot.com/2010/11/missoula-halloween.html
Alison for the Everyday. Ring in the New Year. Saturday, November 13, 2010. Well, Moscow was far too exciting over Halloween weekend, so Paul and I decided we'd relax and take a trip to the huge metropolis of Missoula. It was so great to be able to see Daniel's family and spend some time relaxing with the kids. Paul, Vance, and McKinley on the carousel. Cherisse observing to make sure we all behaved ourselves. Paul and the boys in the book store. Vance and Miles at lunch in the sandwich shop. I would lik...

Wednesday, October 27, 2010. Jess left me alone with Logan. So, in my efforts to entertain, I searched through Logan's wardrobe to find a Halloween Costume. Jess thinks he will be cute as Tigger. I think he would be much cuter as Nacho Libre. But, since it started snowing here a couple days ago, I think the much warmer Tigger costume will win out. Chancho. When you are a man, sometimes you wear stretchy pants in your room. It's for fun." Nacho. Saturday, October 23, 2010. We explored the park further and...

Sunday, June 12, 2011. Memorable Memorial trip to California. On our way out, we decided to take a detour through Lake Tahoe. Neither Jess nor I had been there before, and it really isn't too far out of the way. Plus, we needed a place to break in our new baby carrier. We chose to hike to Cascade Falls. It wasn't a hard choice given our two options. It seems like after driving through Nevada and western Utah, we had enough of desolation. Logan liked his view and dad got a good workout. Logan loves sand s...

Sunday, March 20, 2011. Welcome to the Eagle Mountain dog wrestling match of the month. In one corner, weighing in at a stalwart 20 lbs, wearing red, white, and black stripes, we have the master of disaster, the crawling kid, the bashful baby, Logan. Logan's signature moves include gripping, grunting, and being cute. Watch out for his ear grabbing takedown. After the two minute round, it looks like this match goes to Logan by forfeit. Sunday, March 13, 2011. Sunday, March 6, 2011. Who is Nate the Arm?
