I don't care that none of the critics really cared for this movie, I thought it was pretty great. It was funny and poignant, the writing was good and the acting was pretty spot on. A test, a lesson learned and bear peak hike redux. This morning I woke up and after my pot of coffee (it's good for the heart, look. I'm just afraid that this means that now I will really feel guilty about taking the weekends off. Working for free isnt all its cracked up to be. My folks and I celebrated by going on a short hike in the rain the other day. I hope all of you out there in blogland have a merry, merry. Its vacation time yall. Visiting our neighbors to the north. Awhile ago, M invited me to accompany him on his trip to Toronto. He got to spend the week working and I got to spend it wandering around a pretty big city. There aren't a lot of touristy things to do in Toronto, but we ate a lot of good food and I got a lot of walking in. Labels: its vacation time yall.

Taiwan, day 9. We spend the last day very quietly—taking a walk down to a nearby park in the morning; I go to the gym in the afternoon for a couple of hours; and then we have homemade pizza for dinner. I'm happy to be home and ready to get back into the routine of daily life. Hopefully, my vacation buzz will last for awhile. Labels: its vacation time yall. I love reading about your adventures. Taiwan, day 5. After lunch we take a ferry across the river and visit the town of Bali, which sprang up due to the oyster industry here apparently. We take a walk along the river and decide we like this side better than the other just because it's a little more picturesque and much more calm. And there's a weird statue of a monkey doing Tai Chi.
