Life's Tough But I'm Tougher. Sunday, January 23, 2011. Just when we thought we were done with snow for a little while, we got some more. It snowed 4-5" last Thursday. (And yes, it is supposed to snow again. This week.) I always enjoy going sled riding with my little buddies and it is even better when we can go down their Grandma and Grandpa Buechler's driveway. On Tuesday March 1, both my best friend and close cousin had baby boys! I knew I had to go and see them as soon as possible. Life's Tough But I'm Tougher. Saturday, May 14, 2011. Normally on the first Saturday in May, there is a great event in downtown Jasper around the square called The Chalk Walk. It was postponed until this weekend, and we had a blast. The Chalk Walk is a fundraiser for the Jasper Community Arts Commission. We have such a great time every year. Life's Tough But I'm Tougher. Sunday, May 1, 2011. I was a very, very proud Godmother and Aunt today. Trevor made his First Holy Communion during the 10:00 mass. He was very excited that the day had finally come after months of preparation. He was a little bit nervous though, as he got to read the second reading. Life's Tough But I'm Tougher. Tuesday, August 28, 2012. Home Study Update Time. I knew it was coming. We received an email saying that we would need to update our home study. I knew we would have to do it, as a home study is only valid for one year. I have found that it is much easier to do the second time around! I pray that God gives me the patience for this. I like to think that my patience has gotten better throughout this process, but then I have one of those days where I am anything but patient.

Life's Tough But I'm Tougher. Friday, June 17, 2011. Kara Matt = Mr. and Mrs. Payne. Saturday was a busy day for us. The first annual Celestine Street Fest was being held down the road from our house. We helped with the 5K run/walk in the morning and then got ready for a very big event. That event would be the wedding of Brady's cousin Kara and her fiance, Matt. We were so excited to celebrate their big day with them! And here are some pictures of some of our favorite kiddos. We had such a great time.
