Situated in the middle of a beautiful 7.5 mile stretch of the river Thames the volunteer RNLI crew at Teddington. Provide a 24/7/365 emergency service to anyone in danger on the river. Teddington RNLI Facebook Page. Following the drownings of a number of young men (18-46) the Teddington crew now provide twice yearly throw line training in Kingston. The initiative has now moved to the neighboring borough of Richmond. Who, following their very well attended event, are arranging another session in Twickenham.
