Watch out for vehicles pulling into the kerb or turning left. Watch out for vehicles coming out of side streets. Look out for drivers trying to move onto the road you’re on. Be safe, get seen. Wear a properly-fitting helmet and replace it if it gets a knock. Wear bright or reflective clothing. Be assertive, not aggressive.

It’s strange but true, i have been converted to the Barclays Cycle Hire scheme. Living in Central London and being an avid cyclist these bikes are by far the cheapest and somewhat easiest way to go.
