Sharla, Mimi and I got the 3 girls all dressed up in red, white and blue and headed to the neighborhood parade . only to find out the police had put a stop to it before it even started. No permit. Boo. I mean, really? So, to the park it was! You can view the highlight of the night here. Apparently the sand is grape flavored. I decorated Mimi and Pop Pop's fridge box for the cousins. What's so funny?

Why didn’t they invent the sarcasm font? Well, we were a couple of days early. Maybe even a mere 18 hours early. But we hit up the tulip fields in The Skagit Valley on Sunday. The daffodils were in full glory, and some tulip fields had popped. But yesterday afternoon and today we got a lot of sun and the fields REALLY. Sorry Was that too much?
