Monday, March 19, 2012. 1 Life is short. Period. Whether you live to be 100 or you get cancer at 47, it doesn't seem long enough. It's not long enough to love those you love or do things you love. Do those things ever really get old? Good thing we've got eternity. 2 It CAN happen to you. And don't even get me started on cigarettes). 3 When you tell someone you will pray for them you should. Common sense, right? 4 You don't have to actually beat cancer to be a survivor. 6 You really do get enough strength.

Tuesday, February 28, 2012. Easy St. Patricks Day Wreath. I have been trying to create a wreath each month for our new house. This can get really expensive and time consuming! However, this St. Patrick's Day wreath was neither. I grabbed some scraps I already had and bought a wreath form with a 40% off coupon and a half off sign and was good to go! When I first started reading blogs- a couple of years ago this was one of the first things I made based on something I saw on the blogs. It has been moved twice, but has surprisingly held up well. A few nails and a little double stick tape and you are done! A little while after I did this- cricuts and vinyl became all the rage, but as we have established- I'm cheap and not changing this, but vinyl would look great too!

We feel so blessed. Some fun differences from our TX home to our CO home. We have NO air conditioning in our new house. Most places up here don't have it. Fans are our new best friends. Maybe a bullet list is in order. Josh had no school this summer, a first for him in 5 years. We went to Seattle, WA, to help out a church plant from our church in Carrollton. It is an amazing place. I'm pretty sure we could live there. I began my second year of teaching elementary music. So far, so great!

Monday, June 25, 2012. My 3 girls and I relaxing on the super comfy beds at our hotel which just so happened to be about a mile from Seaworld. It was the nicest hotel I have stayed at in a long time, because I am cheap.
