May 10, 2008. Hi everyone. Sorry that I've taken so much time but I did try to post a blog a couple of weeks ago. My bad. I am just writing a few of the highlights of DC. #1 The Tidal Basin. This walk was gorgeous! There were cool paddle boats floating in there and that looked fun but I am glad we didn't do that. February 1, 2009. American Festival Chorus - Night to Celebrate Lincoln. The bottom picture is Chris just before going to the concert. I had to take a picture to document the occasion. This is his first tuxedo. He had to purchase one as they wear it every time they perform. I think the local men's store in town is glad Craig Jessop came to town and requires only the best. Doesn't he look handsome! Now I may have to have him take a dancing class or two to put this tux to good use! You do look great Dad!

It is 38 1/2 ft. tall, a ft. for each year of the Prophet's life. It was quarried out of beautiful granite from the Barre, Vermont quarry. This is the site where the home was actually located. Monday, October 20, 2008. More Pictures of Fall in Maine. We have had a spectacular four weeks of Fall and I hate to see it come to an end, but the leaves are quickly falling and the temperatures are dipping. It is about time to face the fact that winter is on its way. We now have to be very careful on the roads what with all those wet leaves gathering along roadsides and of course, wandering moose.
