The Jamestown Drag Racing Association was founded in 2000 by six middle aged drag racing fanatics from Jamestown that enjoyed and sometimes raced in Fargo, ND at the Interstate Dragways, as well as the Harvey Airport in Harvey, ND. The inaugural race was held in 2001 at the Jamestown Regional Airport. This year, 2016, will be our 14th race. All meetings are held in the Calvary Room at the All Vets Club unless otherwise noted. He knew his responsibilities, and he was more than ready to undertake them… but as willing and eager as he was, Michael never got his someday. He had just finished double-checking the clearing of his equipment when the wind took a power line and caught the sprayer unnoticed. He died on June 10, 2013. The world lost a farmer.
