Victuals | Adventures of an Innkeeper
https://lifeinbenziecounty.wordpress.com/victuals-aka-vittels
Adventures of an Innkeeper. Life in a Beach Town. More specifically Shiitake mushrooms were my choice for dinner last week. It all started with the mushrooms that I got with my CSA last week. I went to Crescent Bakery and got a nice multigrain bread. Long story short:. I diced some bacon from the Honor Family Market, real bacon that has been smoked, not doused in liquid smoke! Serve with a nice fresh, green salad and some cold, sparkling water with a squeeze of lemon or a nice cold beer. May 5, 2009.

So, if any locals are reading this and know something better than I do, please let me know! Where we live. My 3 guys are painting the eves. View from the front lawn. Turkeys on the front lawn.

Thursday, October 22, 2009. Barefoot Bloggers Blue Cheese Souffle. This weeks selection comes to us from Summer of Sexy Apartment. I have never taken myself to task to make a souffle, but I must say that I am so happy to have that culinary milestone under my belt! The blue cheese flavor wasn't overwhelming, but simply provided some tanginess to compliment the eggs. I will definitely be making this one again! Tuesday, October 6, 2009. Barefoot Bloggers Corn Chowder. This week we have Jill of My Next Life.

Coco Is Cooking: I Scream, You Scream!
http://cocoiscooking.blogspot.com/2010/07/i-scream-you-scream.html
Tuesday, July 27, 2010. I Scream, You Scream! Although these will do nothing to cool you off on a hot day, I had to share! I loved the new royal icing so much that I couldn't wait to make more cookies. My mom came down this afternoon and we cranked out several summer themed cookies, but these were by far our favorite design. I think they would be really cute favors for a party and the bonus is they won't melt on you! July 27, 2010 at 1:46 PM. Many thanks for a special mother/daughter Tuesday!
