Goodbye 29, Heeelllllooooooooo THIRTY! It came, it went. I honestly don't feel any older. BUT, the celebration was fantastic! And I have had a little time to reflect on just how much I learned with all of those goals I set out for 29. No, I didn't get every single one of them marked off of my list. but just as Johnny Football can be in trouble for breaking the "spirit of the law", I believe I obtained the "spirit of my year". ;-). I grew, changed, forgave, loved, lost and ran (a lot). Psalm 62: 1,2,5-7.

Today after my 3rd round of clinical rotations at the nursing home, I rushed home to clean up, de-scrub, and head to Searcy to hold the precious second-born of my oldest and most tried friend. It was somewhat surreal to transition from the nursing home rotation where life is often fading, to a newborn barely 24 hours old- full of hope and promise. The stories are everywhere. and everyone knows someone struggling with something. But tonight- I hugged and kissed my husband a little longer. St Frances and me.
