Thursday, December 25, 2008. On Christmas morning, Daria was full of excitement and being so cute! She couldn't wait to get downstairs. When she finally came down, she went right to the Christmas stockings (which definitely surprised Shari ). The problem was that, of course, Shari was waiting with the video camera by the Christmas Tree (in the living room) and when Daria hit the bottom of the stairs she went to the fireplace which is in the family room. Saturday, June 13, 2009. Daria's ballet recital followed hot on the heels of the end of pre-school. It was a very busy week. Her class' piece was performed to music from "Enchanted", the song is entitled "True Love's Kiss." Daria was so excited that when she came on stage for the first time and crossed the floor in her purple ballet costume she felt like she was in the movie! It does look just like a movie! Saturday, June 20, 2009. Kaitlyn had her first ballet recital. Today I think that her Daddy and I were more nervous then she was. She did a great job and we are both very proud of her! She had her dress rehearsal. On Monday which was a hair rehearsal. For me. Where she takes classes they are very strict about the hair, no wispys. Are allowed. When ever I put Kaitlyn's hair in to a ponytail there are always wispys. And the back always falls. She answered "Yes, because then I can get more flowers.".
