Black and White

Thursday, March 25, 2010. Can you tell a green field from a cold steel rail? Negative: Ilford PanF plus 50 (8m DDX). Exposure: 50mm f/5.6 @ 1/250th. Printed At: 50mm f/16 1m. On: 8x10 RC grade 4. File: 14-26 and 14-27. There are a number of themes at work in this composition - and an overall continuation of the idea of movement. Also I'm aware that for some reason there's a number of train themed pictures in this series, which I think is OK. If you don't, well, too bad. :). Monday, February 15, 2010.

Black and White: "Do you think you can tell?"

http://darkroom-photos.blogspot.com/2010/01/do-you-think-you-can-tell.html

Saturday, January 30, 2010. Do you think you can tell? Exp: 50mm @ f/1.8 - 1/30th. Film: Kodak TMax 400. On: Ilford RC grade 4 8x10. This train was just pulling in to the station on a hazy day earlier this month. Sort of unusual to see an engine like this. February 1, 2010 at 2:23 PM. I thought that person was a tunnel! What a great picture. Cant wait for you to take Karl to the train show. Love you. February 15, 2010 at 5:51 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Interested in signed, framed prints?

Black and White: July 2009

http://darkroom-photos.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html

Friday, July 31, 2009. There are a lot of reasons. Cost- It would cost me somewhere between 1-2 thousand dollars to get a comparable digital camera. I bought my N90 off a co-worker for under 200. Each print costs me as little as 60 cents (although practically speaking it amounts to much more than that). Curiosity- I've always wondered how the whole process worked, you see it in movies like "Ghostbusters" or "The Crush" and these characters just seem to be able to work in a darkroom like it's second nature.

They say that it is the job of any artist to to document their place in history, which is what I had in my head when I decided I wanted this picture. This was the first of these I've seen in our neighborhood in a long time, and I was intrigued by this story. How much did they have to concede in order to sell? December 1, 2009 at 12:28 PM. The life in the darkroom

Fine Art Photographys Journal. Fine Art Photographys Journal. October 9th, 2006. This is my first post in DarkRoom Tips community. Thanks for accepting me. Now it's time to introduce myself. My name is Edgar Keats, I'm 25 and I'm from Lisbon, Portugal. I am a music producer and I found photography some years ago, now I want to explore this fantastic world and evolve, I believe it's the knowledge and the experience that make our instincts go in an accurate mode, to create more and better.
